Teacher Alumni Hundreds of professionals got their start in Breakthrough. We can help you be the next! Summerbridge Cambridge’s services for teacher alumni include: 
• An annual Careers in Education panel– a chance to learn about various paths into and within the education profession, and to network with representatives from local schools and graduate programs. • Resumé coaching and critiques. • Mock interviews. • Recommendations, references and contacts with the education field. In the fall of 2005, Summerbridge Cambridge teaching alumni will be working in diverse educational settings including: Greater Boston Area – Boston Teacher Residency, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Citizen Schools, Harvard University Office of Financial Aid, New Mission High School, Reading Middle School, Rivers School, Roxbury Preparatory Charter School, South Boston Harbor Academy Charter School, Worcester Academy. Elsewhere in the United States – Akiva (Nashville, TN), Calhoun School (New York, NY), KIPP Academy (Memphis, TN), New York City Teaching Fellows Program, Teach For America in the Mississippi Delta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Memphis, New York City, Los Angeles, and the Rio Grande Valley. Elsewhere in the world – JET Program (Japan), Peace Corps (Namibia). |
