It’s Breakthrough.”    - Laura Noyes, Former Director, Summerbridge Sacramento Our Mission The mission of Summerbridge Cambridge, a Breakthrough Program (SBC) is to:          •   Inspire excitement for learning          •   Create paths to college, and          •   Promote careers in education. Founded in 1992, SBC is a year-round, tuition-free academic program committed to educational equity. It provides middle school students with challenging classes and enriching activities while training talented high school and college students for careers in education. SBC offers diversity, community, spirit, academic excellence and an energetic commitment to learning. As a member of the national Breakthrough Collaborative , SBC is affiliated with over 20 Breakthrough programs. All share a similar mission and the proven “students teaching students” model.
